From the outset, OSA has been dedicated to supporting art in the schools and the community at large. In 1993, OSA added a youth scholarships program to its ArtReach activities to support the future training of young visual artists residing in the Ojai Valley.
To date, OSA has funded almost $150,000 in scholarships and other ArtReach programs, including books for the Library, and repairs for the Ojai Art Center. Proceeds from OSA’s Annual Studio Tour, together with private donations, fund the ArtReach initiatives.
