Two years ago, after emergency back surgery, Carol showed up at Bert Collin's door asking for art lessons. She had never sketched or painted in her life. Suddenly a whole new world opened up for her. Everywhere she went after that she was constantly asking herself, "Can I capture that scene on paper? Could I catch that sure, swift morning light coming down a canyon?" Carol tries to paint a pastel picture so true and rich that it will make you feel like you are already there.
