| CHRISTINE APOSTOLINA BEIRNE |
 |
Christine uses an orchestral range of colors that dance in counterpoint to form harmonious images. Her study of music (piano, percussion and composition) provides the subtext that runs through all her paintings - from percussive brushstrokes to searching for similar patterns in structures and nature. If the fugue can be thought of as musical texture, then her paintings are visual texture - texture that provides the viewer with an intensified look at the world around them.
