I spent many years working for the NY Times as a photojournalist, adding magazines and television assignments, a lively mix. After moving to Ojai, I began photographing my surroundings as a way to settle in. I experimented with negative transfers, enchanted with the painterly way it transformed each print. My b/w photographs became sepia studies of the western landscape, while recent travels to Asia have added vibrant color to my studio walls.
