Michael has opened the door to a new experience of interactive illustration by combining his love for pen and ink with a new medium; that of mechanical sculpture. His works give the observer a raw feeling of the journeys that life brings. He is inspired by visual weight and drama, the subtleties found in solitary moments, old world etchings, and narratives that are timeless.
