My recent sculptures in glass, wood and metal investigate place, material, color and light. We live in a world of forms and colors. Just stop and look. The crack in the pavement, the morning light and a glass of water all contain little miracles of color and light. I try to animate materials through the color and light that we see every day. A particular color can remind you of a place you have been or the way you feel. Glass conveys the feeling of fragility. Light and color give life to the work. I seek a perfection that does not exist so the path is long and very interesting.
