The lockdown has been very productive for me, but I have not been painting very much.  I have taken this year to realize something I have plotted for a long time—my memoir.  Digging into 25 years of journals, sketches, paintings, films and photographs has kept me busy.  I am a painter who likes to travel.  I never set out to become an adventurer, an anthropologist, a humanitarian, a link between two vastly diverse cultures or travel with 20 armed guards, but I did that too. The book NomadGal—My Saharan Odyssey will tell that story.  It is not yet published, but when it is I’ll post it here.
