Whimsical, colorful, storytelling are some words that describe my mixed media art, which includes art dolls, artbooks, mosaics, and assemblages. Color is painted on clays that I sculpt and stamp for the art doll heads and mosaic tiles. Antique and vintage textiles and objects, rusty fragments, and hand stitching give texture and intrigue to my work. I love arranging and rearranging gathered materials until I know the piece is ready to be seen by others.
