I’m an artist that has slowly evolved. I transform every couple of decades. That’s the beauty of life-the cycles of change that happen with time.

I came to art late in life, but with the enthusiasm of a kid.

Pastel first captured my heart with its soft feel – fingers touching pigment to paper – some sticks hard and sharp, some buttery, all colors delicious.

Then I discovered encaustic. Off I went playing with beeswax, resin, and pigment, all manipulated with heat and fame.

Today I toggle back and forth between the two mediums, for each brings out a different result.

I hope I transfer my love of life’s wonders to whomever views my work.
