Leslie Plimpton: Winner of the Judge's Award

I am excited to report that my Dry Point Etching, "The Face of Fashion (Anna Wintour)" took the Judge's Award at this year's Ventura County Fair in the Professional Artist's category. The Ventura County Fair is happening right now through August 14th, 2022. This piece depicts Anna Wintour, the powerful editor of Vogue Magazine, wearing a lace face mask, a cocktail dress and jewelry. Cleary the face mask has become the "face of fashion" for nearly everyone trying to avoid the spread of Covid-19.
