Bare Aspen Trees in the Mountains

Spring comes late in the cold climate in the mountains. The Aspen trees still have time to show off their beautiful, slender white trunks and branches. They form a pleasing arrangement of white patterns against the landscape. The trunks are strong and straight and are punctuated by dark knots of the branches. They grow and are nourished from a nearby creek near the city of Bishop and the small town of Aspendell, California.
