Gayel Childress #2 of 12 in series -Newest Paintings of the Disappearing Butterflies

I'm trying to create a series of 12 paintings calling attention to the decline of the Butterfly.. This series is going to be in my Studio's Gallery during the Studio Tour this October. At least this is my plan...I have 10 more to paint.  The first painting in the series is a Triptych and can be viewed at the Ojai Valley Museum until October 10th. along with paintings of 70 Ojai Studio Artists participation in the Ojai Studio Artists Tour.

Each painting in my series has a different title. The painting below is a detail of #2 in the series called " Why? "
