OSA is a vibrant, volunteer-run collective of artists living in the Ojai Valley committed to helping further arts in the Ojai community through student awards, mentorships, exhibitions, and other arts activities.
Members of Ojai Studio Artists have the opportunity to participate in the annual OSA exhibition at Ojai Valley Museum, our Second Saturday studio mini tours, as well as the annual three-day OSA Studio Tour in October.
Volunteer service is an essential part of membership. OSA membership involves significant commitment of unpaid work to support the organization and the Ojai arts community. Each member is required to serve on at least one committee and attend at least six of the annual General Meetings.
Annual dues are $150.
There is a $25 Application Fee. If accepted into OSA, this fee will be deducted from your first year annual dues.
Deadline for applications is December 15, 2026.
Part of the application process requires a visit to the artist's studio by the Membership Committee, to take place in the first part of January 2026.
The application form will be live here online November 15 - December 15, 2026. The application includes jpg submissions of 3-5 pieces of artwork, a description of your studio workspace, an Artist Statement and how you feel you may be able to contribute volunteer hours to OSA. All applicants will be required to deliver original art (between 1-3 pieces) in early January 2026 as part of the review process. Address and date to be shared later.
