The Ojai Studio Artists invites the community to participate in a unique Exhibition Fundraiser taking place April 14-19 at blanchesylvia, 212a E. Ojai Ave, Ojai.
Each artwork will be accompanied by a box; visitors may purchase tickets – available for $20 each or books of 10 for $100 – and place as many tickets as they wish into the box beside the piece they hope to take home. The more tickets an individual places in a box, the greater the chance of being selected. At the closing reception on April 19th from 5-7 pm, one ticket will be drawn from each box, and the selected entrant will receive that artwork. Additional pieces by participating artists will also be for sale.
Proceeds from the event go toward OSA’s work supporting Ojai arts, including its scholarship and mentorship programs at Nordhoff High School. Through these programs, OSA works to provide financial assistance, creative guidance, and meaningful connections between established artists and the next generation.
“Art has the power to build community and open doors for young people,” said Julie Empson, OSA’s co-president. “Through this fundraiser, we’re not only celebrating the work of our local artists—we’re investing in the creative future of the Ojai Valley.”
This show is part of OSA’s broader mission of strengthening the cultural fabric of the region through community engagement, mentorship, and artistic exchange.
