Lindsay Thomson: Aurora Borealis image won First Place

My Aurora Borealis Over Ojai image won first place in the Photography category at the Arts Council of Conejo Valley Summer Open Show!! Do you remember the May 10 solar flare which sent the Aurora Borealis much further south than it usually is seen? People around the world were in awe at the images that came up on their smartphones and cameras.

The exhibit will continue until August 5. The gallery is located at Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks CA 91360.

I also submitted eight photographic prints in the Photography exhibit at the Ventura County Fair. I am crossing my fingers for recognition or two as well!
