You can visit TWO renown landscape artists in one location during the Second Saturday Meiners Oaks mini tour on Saturday, August 12.
Bert Collins is a master landscape artist who has been painting with oils and pastels and teaching in her Ojai studio for the past 27 years. Over 90 years old, she is also one of the founders of Ojai Studio Artists, and a pleasure to chat with during the tour.
Jannene Behl, also a landscape artist, has been mentored by and painted with Bert at her studio for the last 27 years. She also teaches, and credits a long and successful art career to her long-time friend and colleague Bert Collins. Painting and working in pastels is Jannene's passion and she feels lucky to have been able to learn so much from painting with Bert all these years.
