Stephan Edwards: Dreaming

I spend a lot of time dreaming. I have wild dreams. I dream at night. I dream during the day. My dreams consist of jumbled up images flying through my head at mach speed. I try to grab them and put them in my sculptures. I see animals, plants, birds and humans as one. I see wonderful hybrids that live in my sub conscience. They speak to me about freedom and restraint. They tell me stories of joy and struggle. These stories are deeply personal however, I find that these stories are also universal.
