They say "variety is the spice of life". If so, my life as a stone sculptor should be quite spicy. While some stone sculptors work only in one stone, such as marble or alabaster, I prefer sculpting with many different stones.
Visit me on OSA's June 14th Second Saturday and you will see sculptures carved from 14 different stones, from the fossilized choral of "Window Through Time" to the calcite of "Undersea Life".

Even within a certain type of stone, alabaster for example, the colors of the stone can vary widely, from white to pink to orange or mottled. In addition to the variety of sculpted stones, even the bases for the sculptures are made from a half dozen different stones.
Stop by and put some spice in your life.
