Emily Brown: On Color and Form

I have spent the last year developing my glaze techniques with oxides. This approach to glazing depends on a surface that allows the various components of the glazes to run together. Large bowls and round vases display this wonderfully. Their gentle curves provide a magnificent canvas for the commingling of glazes to occur. I currently have many great examples of this in my studio. I hope to see you here this weekend!
