I fell in love with jewelry making in high school. After metalsmithing studies at Cal State Northridge my husband and I opened a jewelry studio in 1970 in the San Fernando Valley. We taught classes, sold tools and supplies, and had a gallery next door.
In 1980 we joined friends in Ojai to become partners in a gallery. I sold my work there and at juried shows across the U.S.  Ten years later we became sole owners of the gallery, which we called HumanArts. We had 45 successful years in downtown Ojai and closed it in summer of 2020, ready to make a change.
After an extensive studio renovation, I’ve begun teaching jewelry classes in silversmithing and lost wax casting, returning to my original mission, to share what I know.
My collection of minerals, fossils and stones inspires my designs, and I am in a constant state of awe that I can still do this every day. No plans to slow down!
