Summer has taken me far afield this year - to villas and lakes and mountain roads. I adore this season, but sometimes find it hard to get back into the studio. When I did, I found myself painting in summer tones of watery blues and pinky creams, all with a lot of light.
I'm excited to show paintings in the OSA mini-tour this Saturday, August 12, with five fellow artists located in the Meiners Oaks area of Ojai. I'll set up some of my work at a Rice Road home since I was out of town when the tour in my neighborhood took place. Hope you'll stop by and plunge into some summertime paintings and portraits.
