Leslie Clark: Portraits and inspiration

Every painting builds in my mind slowly. It usually starts with a quick sketch. But there are so many of those quick sketches they don't always become paintings--sometimes it takes years. I have been digging back through my old sketches and works on paper to see what nudges to develop it further, Some of my portraits are people and some are plants. I hope you come to my studio Oct 12 or 13. I will show you some of my unframed works on paper--maybe you can help me decide.
