Because of the isolation caused by the pandemic, I have reached out to other printmakers across the U.S, in a group hosted by Julie Lapping Rivera through Zea Mays Print Studio in Florence, Mass.
It has been very gratifying to share inspiration and techniques with other woodcut artists, and I have deepened my relief printmaking practice because of this artistic camaraderie. The woodcut prints I have created have become more complex and I am using my large collection of personal drawings in new ways.
