Lindsay Thomson: Milky Way Over Lake Cachuma

Oh what a night! Lucky me, the skies above Lake Cachuma were perfectly clear. The blue green waters of the lake were reflected in the dark sky. The Milky Way formed a perfect arch above the lake. Under the trees on the right side of the image, a picnic bench is backlit, inviting visitors to sit for a while and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the lake and the spectacular night skies.
