I have working on this image for a few days along with a few other Milky Way panos. I've photographed this during the new moon week this month, June. Until now, the skies have not been clear enough during the evening to shoot astrophotography. I have been trying to get this composition for a few years. Usuallly it is cloudy, foggy, dewy or rainy. The Galactic Center is the bright part of the Milky Way on the right. Next month, the Galactic Center will be hidden behind the mountain before it has a chance to clear the light pollution. So basically, I have two weeks out of the year to get this shot. This was the year! Persistence finally pays off.
