I just returned from a quick astrophotography trip to Eastern Sierras. It garnered me 6300 images! Gotta love time lapse ;)
Now the post processing work begins. Here is one of the Milky Way images I shot. The Galactic Center is low above the mountains. Look closely, you can see the green and magenta airglow in the sky. The skies are so clear of light pollution that the Milky Way looks like a highway of stars. Can't wait to go back next year and shoot the Milky Way in various positions across the sky
