Every day as I drive down the hill from my house, I arrive at the creek where there is always a great blue heron hunting, a hawk in the top of an oak tree hunting, as many as ten snowy egrets sitting on the bridge railing a family of ravens who have nested for generations under our bridge and sitting atop a sycamore with only a few fall colored leaves is the great egret. It always makes me happy to see my bird friends as I start my day.
