I love lost socks, not only for their sculptural qualities but because these little gems have gender, character and personalities. They reveal age and purpose while serving as metaphors for community. They show us that we are all the same and yet at the truly unique as individuals. My cups, dots, socks and acorns all work to describe being part of a collective consciousness in a unified field.
Mary Neville, Wrona Gall and I are getting ready for our new show at Azu: 457 E. Ojai Ave, Ojai. We will be exhibiting together in the backroom July 18th through October. The reception is July 18th, 5 - 7PM. Hope you can come!
