Shahastra uses the transformational qualities of artmaking by maximizing saturated color, intense light and drawing on an illusive magical realm. She creates vibrant pastel landscapes, symbolic acrylic innerscapes and soulful colored pencil works.
Shahastra has also designed in silver (jewelry) and iron (garden sculptures). Her eclectic work can be found in numerous private collections.
