Cindy Pitou Burton: Sharp Contrast in Winter at Taft Gardens

Having been at Taft Gardens in the obvious times, spring, summer and fall, this was my first trip to make in winter with it's cool light and without most blooms. I was surprised at my finding it more subtle but also magical. I came across these sharp reminders of the magic of gardens--and even color if you paid attention. My Thistle Burst tells the story..
