Making art is a pretty solitary occupation. It's what I love to spend hours doing. Then there is a different stage...meeting visitors and talking with them and seeing how they react to my work!
I know what inspired me, how I considered composition and color. How many days it took to make the initial drawing... I know when I saw that particular moth or feather and added it to the work in progress. I know how I feel about each painting I make but....
Hearing from You and finding out what it is about a painting that you connect with, a memory it brings up, the color or flower or bird that you love...all of this is endlessly fascinating and valuable to me and helps to complete the circle of my creative process.
