Skies fascinate me because they are always in flux.

Blues range from azure to ultramarine as their tones can change minute by minute. I paint with my hands, not brushes, to capture this direct immediacy. I have different weights of gloves so I can create a feathery cloud in a stormy darkness.

My paintings illuminate a moment in time rather than a particular place.
