The Evolution of HOLOS: A New Chapter

As artists, our work is always evolving, yet certain forms become anchors in our creative lives. For me, that anchor has been HOLOS. I created my first HOLOS sculpture in 2013, and over the years it has evolved from sculpture into wearable amulets while continuing to express the same essential idea: our interconnectedness as one human family.
The nine spiraling segments emerged from my silent exploration of unity, wholeness, and our interconnectedness as one human family. Over the years, HOLOS has taken many forms—from sculpture to wearable amulets—yet its essential invitation has remained the same: to remember who we truly are and that we are not separate from one another.
This October’s Ojai Studio Artists Tour marks a new chapter in that journey. I will be introducing the Legacy HOLOS Collection, representing the remaining pieces created through the original production process. As I bring this chapter to completion, these works will be offered at 25% reduced pricing, with complimentary shipping within the United States.
At the same time, I am opening a newly rebuilt online gallery at BrianBerman.art, bringing together HOLOS with a broader body of work created across many years: contemporary stone, cast glass and metal sculpture, fine prints, and my newest embossed wall pieces.
For me, these works are more than objects. They are markers along a lifelong journey exploring peace, transformation, relationship, and our shared humanity.
Purchases from the Legacy HOLOS Collection will also help support the volunteer peace building work Lisa and I continue through our Awakening Peace non-profit.

There is something about seeing sculpture and amulet pendants in their environment—its scale, surface, shadow, and relationship with the changing Ojai light—that no photograph can completely capture.
