I'M BAAAAAACK!

After several years away, I've returned to Ojai. Arizona left its mark on me. Living close to the deserts, I was captivated by their endless arrays of color, their bold, sculptural forms, and the vastness of their landscape. I found myself simplifying shapes, pushing hues further than life, chasing the essence of that luminous terrain rather than a literal record of it.

But Ojai is home, and coming back feels exactly like that. I am thrilled to be part of the Ojai Studio Artists once again. This valley's light, community, and creative energy has always been the engine behind my work. This year's tour, I'm bringing pieces shaped by my desert years alongside new work in portraiture, figures, and landscape — old threads and new ones, woven back together.

See you in my Upper Ojai studio in October!
