I was just honored to have a profile article written about me and my art that is appearing in the May issue of the Ojai Monthly Magazine. The wonderful writer, Ilona Saari, contacted me and asked if she could write an article and, of course, I said YES! The article was particularly lovely as they included pictures of me in my studio plus quite a few pictures of my artwork as well. During the process of her writing the article, I really had to reach back in my memory and remember things going back to my childhood up to the present. Trying to remember the exact year of things that happened over 30 years ago can really be a challenge.

So look for the May issue at your favorite store around town. It's the one that mentions me on the cover with the headline,
"Leslie Plimpton, Art as Fashion." Hmmm, does that make me a cover girl?
