"A Woman’s Painted Journey"

Pamela Grau

May 6, 2026

A Solo Exhibition by Pamela Grau

May 16 – September 13, 2026
Opening Reception: May 16, 4–6 PM

This spring, I am honored to present A Woman’s Painted Journey at the Santa Paula Art Museum. The exhibition features work created over the past four years, a period of profound personal and artistic transformation.

After decades working as a non-representational painter, a health crisis led me to reinvent my process and discover a new visual language. Combining digital tools with hand-painted papers, collage, drawing, photography, and paint, these layered works are inspired by travel, nature, and everyday moments of wonder.
The pieces feel like visual postcards gathered along the way and reflections on renewal, resilience, joy, and the courage to begin again.

I would love for you to join me for the opening reception on May 16 from 4–6 PM.
