Over the past few years, Gelli plate printing has become one of my favorite creative discoveries. After more than five decades of painting, I have found a process that brings a wonderful sense of spontaneity, experimentation, and pure play back into my studio.

What I love most about Gelli printing is that there are no mistakes, only unexpected discoveries! Every pull from the plate is a surprise, and sometimes the most interesting results happen when things don't go quite as planned.

I've been having such a wonderful time sharing this process through my workshops here in Ojai. From the basics of layering color and texture to more advanced techniques using botanicals, stencils, masks, collage, and image transfers, each class opens up new creative possibilities.

My classes are small, relaxed, and hands-on, with plenty of room to experiment, ask questions, and discover your own artistic voice. Whether you're an experienced artist or someone who hasn't picked up a paintbrush in years, Gelli printing is an incredibly accessible and rewarding way to create.

Come with curiosity, leave with colorful hands, a stack of original prints, and hopefully a little creative inspiration!
I'd love to have you join me in the studio.
