This block of Limestone was originally quarried and shaped to be used as a building block by an early settler of Kansas. Homes, barns, churches and businesses were all built out of this one layer of limestone. It's tornado country, so many of the early structures are now in piles. With permission I was allowed to pick through a few different piles to select the stones I wanted.
