I’m excited to share that my Paperweight series—now showing at Tim Clarke Gallery in Santa Monica—will be back in Ojai for Studio Tour weekend!

Paper is vanishing quickly from our daily lives, and one day we may live in a world where no one remembers what it feels like to hold a pen. Can you imagine? So much creative thinking happens through our hands.

For this series, I challenged myself to use paper as my primary material—old books, letters, and advertisements layered with touches of acrylic paint and pastel. These works are puzzles of human nature, archives of thought and memory.  Paperweight explores the paradox of change—though times move forward, our sentiments and perspectives often remain the same.
