Susan Stinsmuehlen-Amend: Whimseys at the Amend Art Compound!!

I began the Whimseys a couple of years ago after I lost a very big commission :-(. Discouraged, I looked around at all the beautiful handblown sheet glass I had and decided to make modest sized stained glass works; take the onus off of making "important" pieces. I began to notice small doodles I was doing while on zoom meetings or phone calls. I proceeded to use these unconscious renderings as patterns for glass. Though laborious to make despite their size, I am relishing these beautiful, quirky, dangling glass 'drawings'.
