When other artists were staring out at a beautiful landscape during a plein aire painting events, I turned around and saw a stack of plastic chairs, which I decided made a better "landscape" that day!
Of course, I spent several years painting all kinds of chairs in a diversity of settings, leading to a solo gallery show I called "Please Be Seated"!
