In spring 2025, a Pacific Northwest road trip led me to the Mount Vernon Tulip Festival and rhododendron gardens in Seattle and Portland. The peak blooms inspired a new series. I captured stunning images on my phone and then developed my drawing on my iPad, I then layered and collaged painted papers and textures in the studio.
