ARTIST STATEMENT
Creating is woven into my days. I love watching ideas take form—through cooking, painting, drawing, or simply paying attention. Road trips with my photographer sweetheart bring fresh inspiration; my images become ingredients for paint, ink, collage, and reinterpretation.
Five years ago, my body demanded a change. Years of working with toxic materials in poorly ventilated spaces finally caught up with me, and my practice shifted. Now I work in a hybrid language of Procreate, Photoshop, collage, ink, gel-plate prints, and acrylic paint—a lighter, more sustainable expression that has emerged over time. What once felt like giving something up has become a widening of possibility.
My art practice continues to evolve as I explore new ways of creating..
