This is one of three works I made inspired by Taft Gardens here in Ojai. This will be part of our exhibit at SCIART in Camarillo in June.
Taft Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden in a lovely setting, nestled against the mountains of Ojai. Visiting there reminded me of my childhood rambles in nature. It's a hummingbird's paradise, so I've celebrated this little bird sitting on some lilies at the garden and I included a deer I saw while at the Gardens.
